TAMAVISCO® obtains NATRUE certification
MP Gokyo Food & Chemical Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that our original rheology modifier, TAMAVISCO® (INCI: Tamarindus Indica Seed Gum), has successfully obtained NATRUE approval.
NATRUE is a Brussels-based international non-profit association committed to promoting and protecting Natural and Organic Cosmetics worldwide. Founded in 2007, More than 6,700 products certified with the NATRUE Label on the market and over 280 brands trust the NATRUE Label for the certification of their natural and organic cosmetics.

TAMAVISCO® is a new “advanced” plant-based polymer derived from seeds of Tamarindus Indica L. It functions as a thickener and a unique gelling agent to bring fresh ideas of textures. The product was launched in July 2021 to meet the growing demands of clean and safe ingredients in cosmetics and personal care markets.
We are convinced that the NATRUE approval works as the objective evidence to prove that TAMAVISCO® meets standard requirements for a natural ingredient, and that TAMAVISCO® contributes to the developments of cosmetics fitting in the recent trends.
